I've never used a meter to aim the dish, I've always used the receiver and tv. You'd need a DishPro LNB for that (I don't remember if you had DishPro or Legacy equipment). ![]() Your 1000.2 also has an 'Input' connection that can be feed from another dish LNB to pick up 1 more satellite signal, so if additional programming were added to either the 61.5 or 148 sats you could just swing your old 500 toward those. ![]() On another forum someone mentioned hinted about potential new programming being sent from the 148 satellite, but at this point I suspect it would be for west coast local channels. It picks up all 3 main programming satellites for dish and that all you should need to receive your programming, inlcuding all the HD the 942 will pick up. ![]() With the 1000.2, the switches are built into the LNB and it will feed 3 separate receivers, either single or dual tuners (with separator at receiver).
